High hopes

Steven is hoping for an amazing internship that goes from January through May of 2012, right after he graduates. I don't know a whole lot about it, and he describes it as "kind of hazy at this time", but it's at the Goddard Space Center in Maryland. In other words: NASA.

Would that not be so cool?

Here's the area where he'd be working and I do so love a road called "Good Luck."




And here's how far he'd be from home. Actually, I have no doubt that he'll get the position, and that he'll accept it.

So my baby will be literally a half a continent away.




He'll get official word in October, which doesn't give him much time to prepare, but he's a mellow kind of guy about traversing the globe.
